delusional recollections

I dreamt of rushing to the
cookie house for a pound
of old fashioned and cleaning
the cracks between the crevices
but mostly I remember running
in between the lines on the words
of Kurt Vonnegut and Jean-Paul Sartre
desperately trying to find the index.
