Many

I die in my dreams.
Zombies pulling me apart.
Bringing a screwdriver
to a knife fight,
getting it
in the gut
& him twisting the blade.
Shot in a mall,
bleeding all over a kiosk,
people standing around me,
no one holding my hand.
When I wake up I reach for you,
where you used to sleep.
Your pillow is cold.
There are many ways to die.
