cicadas darning socks on antique sewing machines 
rattling in the night.
spilled bag of marbles in a bathtub.
typewriter echoes whispered within mausoleum walls
radio static turned to roaring waterfall whitewash
shaken piggy bank
emptied.
Jeremy Rich has published several poems in various print and online journals

with Conviction, Speedpoets, Poetic Hours, and others. He is currently an 8th 
grade Language Arts teacher in Colorado, but was a long time chef in California.
